FLIGHT LEVEL
Owning a high-performance single is rewarding, and it also takes a lot of coordination. We take on the scheduling, upkeep and paperwork so more of your time goes to flying.
Why owners choose Flight Level
- We fly what you fly. Management decisions come from experience in PA-46, TBM and Epic cockpits, not from a desk.
- Safety first. Maintenance is scheduled early, squawks are followed up, and nothing is deferred to save a few dollars.
- One point of contact. You deal directly with the owner, not a call center.
- Built around you. Services are tailored to how you actually use the aircraft, from weekend trips to regular business travel.
What management covers
- Maintenance coordination: scheduling inspections, working with your shop, and tracking squawks and due items.
- Aircraft movement to and from maintenance: we can safely and professionally move your aircraft to and from maintenance with insurance-approved, credentialed pilots.
- Records and compliance: keeping logbooks, inspection dates, and airworthiness items organized.
- Hangar and ground support: secure hangar space, with the aircraft preflighted and ready when you arrive.
- Trip support: flight planning help, fueling, and arrangements at your destination.
- Pilot coverage and currency: mentor pilots, safety pilots, and recurrent training when you need them.
- Budgeting: clear tracking of operating costs so there are no surprises.

Keep your aircraft out of the Wisconsin weather, with the people who manage it close by.
We offer hangar space at Kenosha Regional Airport (KENW) and Burlington Municipal Airport (KBUU), roughly 25 miles apart. Availability changes, so contact us for current openings and rates.
- Protection: shelter from snow, ice, hail and sun year-round.
- Convenience: your aircraft can be pulled out, preflighted and ready for your arrival.
- Private, semi-private or community space: we can offer hangar space from fully private to semi-private to community. You can even drive your car into the hangar to load and unload in the comfort of its heated or cooled environment, with no need to handle bags or gear out in the elements.
- Move it yourself, or let us: hangar space can include the option for you to move your own aircraft in and out, rather than having others handle it. If you'd rather not, we'll do it for you.
- Pairs with management: hangar and management together means one contact for everything.
Buying a PA-46, TBM or Epic is a big decision. We help you make it with a pilot's eye on the aircraft.
Our role is to help you evaluate and buy the right aircraft. We don't sell aircraft, so our advice is on your side of the table.
- Finding the right fit: matching models, avionics and equipment to how you plan to fly.
- Evaluating candidates: reviewing records, history and condition before you commit.
- Data-driven analytics: we go beyond a logbook review, examining digital flight logs and engine operating parameters to see how the aircraft has actually been flown and how it has performed.
- A test flight before you buy: we offer and recommend a test flight with an experienced, owner-level pilot who knows what "good" looks, sounds and feels like. Having an experienced pilot evaluate the aircraft in flight, before the buying decision is made, is of the utmost value.
- Pre-buy coordination: arranging the inspection and following up on findings.
- Delivery: ferry flying your new aircraft home, then hangar space and management.
- Getting started: initial training and a mentor pilot for your first trips.
Practical guidance for owners and prospective owners of high-performance aircraft.
- Ownership planning: what it really takes to operate and maintain your type of aircraft.
- Operating costs: realistic budgets for fuel, maintenance, hangar, insurance and training.
- Training and insurance: understanding what your insurer expects and planning for it.
- Equipment and upgrades: weighing avionics and maintenance decisions before you spend.
- Operations: advice on procedures, currency and safe flying habits.
We're pilots and managers, not a law or tax firm. For legal or tax questions we'll point you to the right professional.

An experienced pilot in the aircraft you fly, when and where you need one.
- Trip pilot: a captain or second pilot for a specific trip or a regular schedule.
- Safety pilot: a second set of experienced eyes in the right seat.
- Ferry flights: delivery after a purchase, a maintenance or avionics visit, or a move to a new base.
Experience takes time to build. A mentor pilot helps you build it safely.
A mentor pilot flies with you through your first months in a PA-46, TBM or Epic, on your own trips, in your own aircraft, with your own avionics. It's the best way to turn training into confident, real-world flying.
- Owners who have flown these aircraft for real: our mentor pilots are owners who have flown these aircraft on real-world missions over thousands of hours. That experience includes ice and the cross-country weather decision making that only comes from flying these aircraft day in and day out.
- Real trips: practice on the flights you actually plan to make.
- Your aircraft: learn its systems, avionics and quirks with an expert beside you.
- Gradual confidence: take on weather, airspace and higher-workload flying one step at a time.
Training in the aircraft you own, with an instructor who knows them well.
- Initial training: a structured transition into your PA-46, TBM or Epic.
- Recurrent training: annual training that meets insurance requirements and keeps you sharp.
- In your own aircraft: training matched to your avionics, your routes and the way you fly.
Training is available for all PA-46, TBM and Epic models. Ask about other aircraft.
Schedule trainingFlight Level Aircraft Management is run by a pilot and instructor who flies and teaches the aircraft we manage.
Nicholas Theyer is the owner of Flight Level Aircraft Management. He is a commercial pilot and instrument flight instructor who specializes in initial and recurrent training in the Piper PA-46, TBM and Epic. He has owned two PA-46-310P Malibus and currently owns a TBM 700C2, so he knows aircraft ownership from the owner's side of the hangar door.

Why it matters for management
Aircraft management works best when the manager knows how the aircraft is meant to be flown and trained, and what ownership is like day to day. Nicholas has lived both sides, as an instructor and as an owner. When we plan maintenance, schedule training or arrange a pilot, we're drawing on that experience, not guessing.
Why "Flight Level"?
A flight level is an altitude in hundreds of feet. FL250 is 25,000 feet. It's the language of high-performance flying, and it reflects the standard we hold for the aircraft we manage.
